Chester Bennington

• 1976 - Chester Bennington was born on March 20^th

• 1987 - parents divorce and depression leads Chester into drug abuse

• 1996 - marries Samantha Marie Olit

• 1999 - joins 'Xero - later renamed to "Linkin Park" - as lead vocalist

• 2000 - gains prominance with the release of Linkin Park's first album "Hybrid Theory"

• 2002 - Linkin Park wins a Grammy for the song "Crawling"

• 2005 - co-founds his side project band "Dead By Sunrise"

• 2005 - divorces Smantha Marie Olit, marries Talinda Ann Bentley

• 2013 - becomes lead singer of "Stone Temple Pilots", as another side project

• 2015 - leaves Stone Temple Pilots to devote more time to Linkin Park

• 2017 - dies at the age of 41
